Measurement and recording

The program PEDION24 aims at the continuous and uninterrupted measurement and recording of the levels of electromagnetic radiation from wireless media and from antenna transmission systems of mobile telephony.

Publication of results

The data of the levels of electromagnetic radiation resulting from the recording, are published on this website in order to inform the public about the levels of exposure to electromagnetic radiation in various parts of the country.

  • The measuring stations of the PEDION24 program record on a 24-hour basis the electromagnetic field emitted by various sources, such as:

  • The public is given the opportunity to be informed immediately and reliably about the levels of electromagnetic radiation at any time.

  • Τhe measurements are stored in a database and are readily available to the public. 

  • Older measurements can be searched, as they offer a complete overview of electromagnetic radiation levels for each area.

The PEDION24 program serves two purposes

  • Timely and valid information to the public about the levels of wireless transmission in their daily lives.

  • Strict control of compliance with exposure limits.
